How does payment work?
I will email you an invoice that you can pay with debit or credit card. If you would prefer to pay with cash or check, let me know, and we can work those details out. I ask for a 50% deposit in order to secure supplies and hold your spot in my calendar. The rest of your balance is due prior to deliver.
How long will it take?
From booking to shipment, it typically takes me 3-5 weeks, depending on the details of the order and my schedule.
Can you duplicate my pin on Pinterest?
I love looking at Pinterest for inspiration to narrow in on your specific style and vision for your project. I love having clients create mood & inspiration boards for projects. However, I will not copy another artist, because I want you to have a unique piece for your home, wedding or business.
What kind of pens do you use?
It totally depends on the project. I don't discriminate when it comes to pens. I love Tombow pens, gel pens, sharpies and brush pens! I even love a good old Crayola marker!
What is your artistic process?
I start with a pencil and paper. Then once I'm "happy" with the layout I add black ink to the sketch (marker, pen, whatever fits with the scale of the design). Then I scan my artwork into my Mac or just snap a photo on my iPhone near a well lit window. I bring my artwork into Photoshop and remove the background. I manipulate, tweak, erase and finesse my artwork until it looks fit for my eyes. This part takes 20 minutes - 6 hours. And it always involves heavy snacking and fast food.
